Anyone may choose to opt out of the Immortals system at any time. Those who do this are considered Non-Players in the Immortals system and cannot be interacted with.
To opt out of the Immortals system, teleport to the Immortals Store and use the Opt Out Crystal you will find there. You will then never receive an Awaken or Feed request from an Immortal, unless you choose to Awaken yourself using the Awakening Crystal or become an Immortal yourself.
To become an Immortal yourself at any time, go get the Empower Immortals HUD from the Immortals Store.
