Breathers may Offer vitae to other Immortals to heal or resurrect. This counts as an act of “Good” (positive Virtue) for the offerer and has no impact on the Virtue of the recipient.
You can only offer Vitae to someone who is also wearing an Immortals HUD.
To Offer vitae to another character, click the Offer button on the HUD:
If you have multiple Offer types, you will be prompted to choose which (e.g. Nice/Nasty/Default). This will determine which animation, sounds and particles you wish to use.
You will then be prompted as to which target you wish to offer Vitae to. Your target must be within 2m in order to offer them Vitae.
The HUD will ask you to the amount of Vitae you wish to offer by presenting a Dialog prompt which you have to respond to within 30 seconds, otherwise the offer will timeout (expire) and you will need to Offer again.
Once you confirm the offer, the target will be prompted to accept your offer. They have 30 seconds to accept, otherwise the offer will timeout (expire) and you will need to offer again.
Once they accept what you are offering, they will move to you and accept your Vitae. Unlike when the Undead offer Vitae, an Offer of Vitae from a Breather is a mystical offer of life force and occurs instantaneously upon acceptance.
Differences to Undead Vitae Offers
When the Undead offer Vitae to another Immortal, it takes on a special meaning, either turning the character or inviting them to join their Immortals Group (Clan/Pack etc). You can see the details of Undead Offering here. Breathers who offer Vitae do so with no such consequences, other than the ability to resurrect a Revenant by offering them Vitae, which applies when either Breathers or the Undead offer Vitae to a Revenant. An Offer of Vitae from a Breather is an offer of life force and occurs instantaneously upon acceptance.
Resurrecting revenants
A Breather with sufficient life force (Vitae) may resurrect a revenant by Offering a minimum of 4000 Vitae. 3500 is sacrificed to resurrect the revenant, with the remaining being transferred to the revenant to bring their Vitae above zero.
